U-Pick Flowers

Our U-Pick will be open at least one Saturday morning each month July-October. For weather updates and current times we are open, please check our Facebook or Instagram. The U-Pick is located on our family farm and is only open to the public during the scheduled dates and times. Please note that we are not a public park; we are a privately owned business that welcomes all paying customers.

Interested in having a group U-Pick outside of the public U-Pick hours? Contact us at shebaacres.com. For these reservations, we require a minimum of 10 adult U-Pick tickets purchased in advance.

Things to know before you visit:

  • There is limited shade at the U-Pick. Remember to bring sunscreen, hats, and bug spray. We also do not have running water or restroom facilities at the U-Pick. We ask that you bring water bottles for personal hydration. We will have water for your flowers.
  • Sometimes, Mother Nature makes our fields soggy, so be sure to bring appropriate footwear.
  • We do provide garden pruners to cut your flowers; however, we do not provide gloves.
  • We welcome you to take photos of the flowers and your experience on the farm to share with your friends. #shebaacres
  • We do not allow professional photography sessions during our U-Pick hours. We do offer photographer days when professional photography slots are available and booked in advance.
  • We do not allow animals of any kind on our property. Please email shebaacres@gmail.com in advance if you have a registered service dog.
  • We are located at 9201 Holden Rd Baroda, MI 49101.

Pricing

We offer 4 price points for our U-Pick flowers.

We don’t want to take away from your experience on the farm by counting the stems you have but we do ask that you respect the value and don’t overstuff your cup or bucket and make sure all your flower stems are in the water. If you have questions we are more than happy to help you while you are here.

$20 Sheba Acres Cup (20oz.)
The cup is included in the price and is yours to keep. Perfect for your car cupholder!

$10 Sheba Acres Kids Cup (10 and under)
The cup is included in the price and is yours to keep. Perfect for those who love flowers but have smaller hands.

$50 Bucket
This is a great option for the DIY bride, baby shower, or any other gathering.

$5 U-Pick Guest
We know not everyone wants to pick flowers but still wants to come and enjoy their beauty. Our U-Pick Guest option allows for just that. Come walk among the flowers. This option is required for individuals over the age of 3 that have not purchased one of the options above.

We accept cash and Venmo for our U-Pick sales.

Caring for your Flowers

  • We do not recommend leaving your flowers in a hot car and try to keep them out of direct sunlight. 
  • Give the stems a fresh cut at a 45-degree angle before putting them in the clean vase at home.
  • Be sure there are no leaves below the water line in the vase. This will cause the water to build bacteria quickly and shorten the life of your flowers.
  • We recommend every 2-3 days changing the water and giving the stems a fresh cut on the bottom.
  • Keeping the flowers away from direct sunlight will also extend their vase life.
